New York Times Article-A PATH Station That Honors 9/11, and Opens Wide, Too

Bell Ringer- What is the difference between the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941 and the attack on the Twin Towers on September 11th 2001? How do you think that these two attacks effected this country's attitude towards war?
Objectives- In this lesson you the student will be able to understand the threats that forced this country into another war. You will also learn the effects and the causes that september 11th had on this country and how this event is compared with such devastation as the attack of Pearl Harbor. Will history repeat itself with another World War?
Standards- I will be using the standards of Military Conflict, who what where when and why, and racial relations-Islam and Iraq.

The man in the picture is responsible for the deaths of hundreds on that faithful day in September of 2001. He was the main cause of the United States getting involved in the Iraqi War. He has yet to be caught by the US forces.
Another main cause of the involvement in the Iraqi War and the bombing of
the twin towers is undoubingly Saddam Hussein.
The picture on the right is Saddam Hussein after being caught by US sodiers in December of 2003. He will never hurt the people of Iraqi again.
These two men along struck fear into an almost untouchable country. That country was the United States of America. Because of these men we are now in a war that could last years
Effects of September 11th:
The bombing of september 11th has many effects on this country. For one we have heightened the security in all areas. This includes the airports and any other main government area.
