1)Describe what life was like during the middle ages and how the social classes are different from those in America today.

2)Identify the different levels of social classes in the middle ages and how they interacted with each other

3)Have knowledge of the benefits of both economic/social/political systems of Middles and Modern America

1)Why would a serf continue to work for his lord even if he was not getting "direct payment" for his work?

3)What would most likely have happened to you if you had a disease at the time?

4)Did music have a place in society that was more important than just personal gratification?

5)What importance did towns have? (especially in an economic sense)

 

PART II- Middle ages vs. Modern America

1)As an American born into a lower class what advantages would you have over someone born into the lower class during the middle ages?

 

-Take a moment to think back to the questions you answered in PART I, how would your answer to each question change if we were speaking about life in america today?
