II. Bell Ringer: If you could have any food in the word today, what would it be?

III. Objectives: (1) Students will be able to identify the different food groups. (2) Students will be able to to recall different foods they have tasted and be able to apply the foods to the food pyramid. (3) Students will be able to classify the different foods shown into their respeective food group.

 

IV. Anticipatory Set: What does your favorite food taste like.? Is it sweet? Is it sour? What kind of taste does it have?

VI. Closure: Students will cut pictures of foods out of magazines and paste them on a picture of a food pyramid. They will be able to keep this picture of the pyramid to remember what they have learned
