First of all, I'd like to thank you for visiting my educational website!! I plan to do everything possible to try to make my class a good experience for all of my students. My main belief is that there are various kinds of intelligences, and not everyone learns in the same ways. One of my main goals is to try to discover what types of intelligences are prominent among my students, then I could try my hardest to cater to these various learning styles. I will do my best to provide a variety of activities and learning experiences and stress the importance of applying the material learned to everyday life. I think it's important not to teach in the same manner and do the same types of activities in class every day. A teacher should never get too set in their ways. My main goal is to provide a nurturing environment that is conducive to learning.
I think that a student's overall attitude about learning and applying themselves in school ultimately comes from their beliefs about education. These beliefs on education most likely come from their parents. If the parents stress how important school is and become involved with their children, I believe that the children will have a better understanding and realize the importance of doing well in school and always trying their best.
