The children will be able to distuinguish between these two pictures to help them decode the word "pigtail" as using parts of the word pig as an actual pig and tail as an actual dog's tail.
The children will also be constructivists on this activity on my instruction of going on on scavenger hunt to help them decode this word then I will have them draw pictures for better association.
