Mrs. Sipe's Second Grade Class

During my language arts block, I provide a balanced literacy program. This block includes guided, shared and independent reading, shared, interactive, and independent writing, as well as word work. I find that the skill most second graders are deficient in is fluency. My goal for this web site is to provide activities that will help students, parents, and teachers learn about fluency and how to improve it. There are also some other great activities centered around learning to read.
Enjoy! ~Mrs. Sipe
