Midterm Lesson Plan

 

 

 

 

Bell Ringer: When you here the words, liberty, limits, state and national govenment, state and national power, constitution, and relationship what is the one word that comes to mind? Can you now use that word in a sentence? Can you think of a good definition for that word?

 

With this bell ringer I believe the students will respond positively. Since these students are in th 12th grade, they would reconize the above words and pictures. They would be able to understand and come up with a definition of Federalsim and be able to understand that in federalism, power is distributed to both the national and stae governments.

 

This approach is constructivistic because it allows your students to become independent learners and relate visuals to words.
